It’s been hella busy lately with the day job and freelance and the holidays so I haven’t had time to update much, BUT I did have time to make a Boombox for Godzilla. There’s always time to make a boombox for Godzilla.

So, every year the Day Job throws a big holiday party and the invites are always epic. This year is no different. The theme was Holiday Bossa Nova so the illustrators each did their own album cover and the invites were printed on recycled 45s. This one is mine:

We had a bunch of little plastic skateboards that we made for DelTaco around the office, and I decided I wanted to make a little paper guy to ride one. So I did. Yes. My thought process is really that simple.

Sometimes I forget how much I like drawing with my Cintiq. I got the chance last night to practice this style a little and this was the result. Kinda fun. I’d like to do more stuff like this.
